God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea. — Psalm 46:1
From The Artist
How timely is this 3,000 year old text? What a comfort to know there’s a place of refuge and strength for the storms of life. This Psalm has been a comfort to many for millennia! The Hebrew text translates to “God is our refuge”, and was painted with specialty inks mixed to achieve the right vivid blue. The scene was collaged using heavy colorful art papers torn to depict mountains falling into the sea, as the Psalm reads. A perfect gift to encourage friends or family struggling in these uncertain times.
